What happens after I pay?
Stripe takes your one-time $9. You are sent back to StayUnused and your packet opens in your browser. It is not emailed, so bookmark the page. It stays saved in that browser on that device.
Is this legal advice?
No. It is a checklist and a template with links to official sources. Rules and fees change, so confirm with your state’s DMV or clerk.
Do I need a notary?
It depends on your state. Some require notarized or agent-verified signatures; some do not. Your state’s packet links to the official steps.
What about a loan or lien on the car?
Do not pay until the title is clear. Ask the seller for a lienholder payoff letter and the lien release.
What if the sale crosses state lines?
Use the packet for the state where the car will be titled and registered, and check the other state’s DMV too.
Is it only for New Hampshire?
No. Every U.S. state, D.C., Puerto Rico and the territories. Pick yours.
What if it doesn’t help?
Email [email protected] within 14 days of purchase and we’ll refund the $9. Put the email you paid with in your message.
